Year two grew by half again, so we moved rooms. We brought in mentors who do this for a living and ran workshops on APIs and version control. 25 projects got finished.
Mentors stayed late. Engineers from Google, Microsoft and Nvidia ran office hours right up to the judging deadline.
The projector got hijacked. A spare projector turned into a Smash bracket, then a Clash Royale ladder, and stayed that way until the closing ceremony.
Judging ran long. We budgeted an hour and it took closer to two, mostly because the judges kept asking follow-up questions.
